Privacy Policy

Who we are

ProjPilot (projpilot.com) is a gallery and community for small creators. Contact us through the contact page about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Account data. Your email address (to sign you in with a one-time link), and whatever you add to your profile: name, handle, bio, avatar and links. Your email is never shown publicly.
  • What you publish. Projects, ideas, comments and likes you post are public by design.
  • Pilot sign-ups. When you join a pilot we record that you joined and any note you leave. We share your email with that project’s creator only if you tick the box to share it, for that pilot.
  • Submissions. The links, text and images you submit, and the email address used to submit.
  • Security data. A one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store raw IP addresses.
  • Payments. If you buy Fast Track or promotion, Stripe processes the payment. We receive the amount, the status and the email address, never your card details.
  • Usage. Aggregate page views and outbound clicks per project, counted without cookies or personal identifiers.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies when you sign in: pp_session keeps you signed in, and pp_ui lets the page show your name in the header. The submission flow uses short-lived cookies to keep your draft. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See the cookie notice.

How long we keep it

  • Sign-in links expire after 30 minutes; sessions after 30 days.
  • Account and profile data until you delete your account.
  • Contact messages for up to 24 months.
  • Payment records as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard, leave any pilot, delete your comments, and ask us to delete your account and the personal data attached to it through the contact page. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (access, correction, portability, objection); ask and we will help.

Service providers

ProjPilot runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage and email delivery). Payments are handled by Stripe. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.
